More Halloween Activities

Jackson's friend Holly came over right before Halloween and brought each boy a little basket of goodies.  In it were these glasses-a huge hit!

 Aren't they so cute?
There were also these vampire teeth.  The boys tried hard to scare me!
My friend Leanne who I met through MOPS had a Halloween party for our table.  The kids all dressed up-it was so cute!
She also had lots of yummy treats including these cupcakes to decorate.  Here's her daughter Alexa decorating her cupcake.
 Here's Holly decorating hers!
 Beck and Bodie
Here are all of the kids in their costumes.  Aren't those the cutest costumes??  I took a few pictures of some of the kids for their moms.
 Adorable baby Kade
Isn't this costume just amazing??  Leanne made this herself!!!   He's the owl and his sister is a tree-isn't that just so cute?
Beautiful Holly is a flapper.  Her sister Emily is as well, but unfortunately Cooper and Emily had to miss it because they were in school.
Here's Alexa in her adorable tree costume.  She told her mom she wanted to be a tree and this is what Leanne came up with.  Isn't that amazing? I would have probably had Jackson wear all brown and just glued fake leaves to it!  She's obviously very talented.
I had to end with this sweet picture.  The boys are watching a video of Claire Wenxia (or Claire Gao Wenxia, Claire Gao Wenxia Ann-we're not sure yet!) crawling around :).

Gretchen and Darin Part 2...

The Saturday Gretchen, Darin, and the kids were here was jam-packed!  We went to a local restaurant we had recommended to us for brunch.  It was SO good.  I had to take a picture of the boys with their ONE pancake.  Can you see it takes up the entire plate?

Jackson nearly polished the entire thing off!
We then headed to a pumpkin patch.  It was pretty crowded but had lots to do so the kids had so much fun!

Bounce houses are always a hit.

There were lots of photo-ops that we took advantage of.

Hay bale jumping (I have no idea how to spell that correctly!) was a favorite activity I think.

We of course had to get a few pictures of the kids posing.

This is one place I hope to never see my boys! :)  They look appropriately sad don't they?
We finished our pumpkin patch experience with a hay maze.  To end the maze the kids had to slide down this slide.

After a nap for the little kids, we all got ready for Laura and Tom's annual Halloween party.
Cooper and Jackson were planning on being football players for Halloween, and Maya and Nolan just happened to have KState outfits too, so all four were KStaters!  Appropriate since that's where we met Gretchen and Darin!
Gretchen and I dressed as KState fans for the party-very easy!  She made me this wreath as a thank-you, isn't it BEAUTIFUL?  It's still on my door; the perfect fall wreath!
I don't have many pictures of the party but first the kids played a bunch of different games.

After the kids played games, the ran around in the backyard while the adults played minute-to-win it games.  We all had a blast!  The kids fell asleep as soon as they got in the car.

We had such a great time with Gretchen and Darin and can't wait for them to come down again!

Gretchen and Darin's Visit!

Our great friends Gretchen and Darin came to visit us a few weekends ago.  Darin works in the area some of the time so Gretchen and the kids came along too :).  We had such a good time!

I'm sure Gretchen and Darin really appreciated my boys teaching Nolan all about weapons.

Cooper read the kids the book he made in school.
The weather was beautiful so the kids played around outside to get some energy out.
What cuties!!  Jackson, Nolan, Cooper, Maya.
The first night we had dinner...
 and then a movie.
 Buddies!
The next day we went to the park while Cooper was in school.  We missed having him there.

When Cooper got home we had a little Halloween party.  We wrapped the kids like mummys and then played around with the paper.  They of course loved that!

A kid sandwich!  Cooper started crying about 1 second after this picture.  :)
We decorated a haunted house during our party too.

I think more candy went in their mouths instead of the house.
We adults had a game night that night.
I have some very funny pictures of us playing the game, but I'm going to be nice and not post them. :)
