Some Good...Some Not So Good.

Recently we took pictures of all the kids (my kids and cousins) at the botanical gardens, and then with bluebonnets near my parents' house. Some turned out pretty good (none of them were wonderful) but most were not so good. Like always when taking pictures of kids! I decided to post a few not-so-good ones just for fun.

My Poor Babies!! (and random stuff)

I finally downloaded my small purse camera so I have a lot of random pictures to post. The first of which are both of my boys in hospital gowns! :( Jackson recently had to have an MRI (everything is fine!) but it was traumatic for me. They had to put him to sleep in order to do the MRI which I was not excited about at all. But thankfully everything turned out ok.

Then only a month later Cooper had to have a third set of tubes and his adenoids taken out. Here he is waiting for the procedure while watching a movie. This time was definitely different since he was a whole year older. I actually had to tell him what was going to happen and he got nervous. That had never happened before! The part he didn't like was they had to take some blood so they went ahead and put in his IV. Uusually I guess they wait until the child is asleep before they do that. So he kept crying and asking to take it out. I felt so bad for him!

The recovery was fairly smooth. He was kind of crabby and didn't eat much for a few days afterward, but now he's totally fine. I'm praying this will put an end to the fluid in his ears!

My mom got all three boys a few matching outfits this year. Twice now we've arrived at places and we have dressed the boys matching without even planning it! We pretend Ben and Cooper are our twins I guess. Here they are in one of their outfits.

A few weeks ago the boys and I met my mom at a pottery place to paint Easter eggs. Cooper painted for about two seconds and then was pretty much done. We made Jackson's thumb prints into bunnies so that was pretty cute.

Botanical Gardens

There is a small botanical gardens near my house so Ryan and I took the kids there recently to take some pictures. We got there just in time, the tulips were just about to drop their petals!

Isn't he funny? I was having a hard time getting a good photo of him smiling!

(We tried the "I'm going to tickle you" bit. Can you tell by looking at Cooper? )

It was a beautiful day! I'm trying to spend as many days as I can outside now while it's not too hot. Pretty soon it's going to be 100 degrees!!! :(

Easter

Easter morning we got up and had a quick Easter egg hunt before heading to church. Here is Cooper with his Easter basket and eggs. He LOVED it needless to say. First thing he would do is open the eggs and eat the candy as fast as he could. I had to stop him after awhile before he put himself into a sugar coma!

After church we went to Gma's and Gpa's for another Easter egg hunt. Afterward we sat and tried to take pictures while the kids ate their treats. Cooper got a 6 pack of peeps and he seriously ate ALL of them while we were sitting here taking pictures. He could barely shove them in his mouth he had so many of them in there at once! Oh well, it's only Easter once a year, right?? :)

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday we went to church in the morning, then to my parent's house for Easter baskets. They give the kids their Easter baskets a week early so they won't be getting so many baskets/treats on Easter. The pictures are all out of order so here we go...

The hit of the Easter basket was silly string! The kids LOVED it. We wanted some too! Here is Cooper trying to get Grandpa.

Playdates (and matching outfits!)

So here are some pictures from two playdates we've had recently. But first I had to post a few pictures of the boys in one of their matching outfits. They have a few sets of matching clothes thanks to the grandparents (thank you!!) and whenever they're wearing them I'm trying to get a good photo of them.

Here is the best one from outside-not too good. My friend Allison was trying to help me get them both to look and smile, pretty much impossible.

What does Jackson have all over his shirt??!? I didn't even notice that when I was taking them. Not too observant I guess.
