Halloween and trip to KS

We traveled to KS on Halloween so a few days before we trick or treated at Grandma's house.  It's a tradition so we had to make sure we could squeeze it in.

 This was the first year we actually tried to carve "something."  it was a ninja turtle and actually kind of turned out!

 On Halloween we drove up to KS to go to Chris' wedding!  ( Ryan's younger brother)  The leaves were beautiful so we had to get some pictures of Claire.  We don't get much opportunity where we are for beautiful fall leaves.

 This just shows how much Claire loved trick-or-treating.  She ran right behind them and never stopped.  She wasn't scared at all, just thought it was a little strange getting the candy. She didn't quite understand it at first.

 The next day we had the rehearsal.

 The boys practiced carrying this very adorable sign.

 Then afterward the flower girls decided they wanted to walk out arm and arm with the boys.  So they took it upon themselves to practice with the boys.  They took charge for sure, it was so cute!  The boys just listened to what the girls said.

 Afterward we went to the rehearsal dinner.  It was so beautiful so right before the sun set we ran outside to get a quick photo.  Then we went in and celebrated with everyone about the upcoming wedding!

Catching Up Again-October

Wow I'm behind!  These are going to be some very random posts to catch up!  Here is cutie Claire with a little black eye! :(  I don't even remember how she got it!

 

 We made some chocolate chip cookies and had to wear our cute aprons!

 Cooper had an assignment for tiger cubs where he had to bake and decorate a cake with Ryan.  It was so cute and fun to see them baking in the kitchen.

 A family visit to the pumpkin patch!

 Here's the cake they decorated- there were a few categories and they tried to make a scary one.

 Here he is receiving one of his patches.  They were allowed to wear their costumes because it was almost Halloween.

 Cooper played soccer in the fall- he's a little tired of taking pictures!

 The week before Halloween we had a few Halloween parties to go to.  I took a picture of the kids before we left.  They're ready to save the world!

 NONE of my kids are fans of cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin, just check out the faces...

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

I just had to add this picture of Claire in her Minnie costume.  She loves loves LOVES Minnie! :)

 

 Probably a month ago we went to the pumpkin patch with our good friends Holly, Emily, and Blake.  (Blake's not in this photo!)

 We've been to it the last few years, the kids love it! They have a few bounce houses and fun things to do.

  I of course made the kids pose a few times. :)

We took Claire on her first hay ride.  She wasn't too sure what to think.

 The boys loved it though!

 This photo was a great coincidence-the kids peeked their heads out at the exact same time and I told them to smile and they actually did!! 

 I think the hay stacks might have been the kids favorite activity!

 Emily and Cooper walked around finding all of the stems laying around on the ground.

 That night we did a game night and took a photo of all of us... such a fun time!
