Fun with the cousins

Last Wed I watched Ben and Eliz for a little while and we had so much fun! I was trying to find activities that wouldn't hurt Ben's stiched-up arm (which is hard to do, I dont' know how Laura does it. The boys run around together like little monkeys and climb all over everything!) so I did a puppet show for them with animal puppets. Here they are enjoying it. Lily (our puppy that you can barely see) kept trying to eat the puppets which they thought was HILARIOUS!

Playtime!

Cooper and I met my friend Dana and her daughter Ashlynn, along with our friend Allison and daughter Emily at an indoor playhouse last week. We had a lot of fun. Cooper loved running around and playing with all of the toys.

Who's the baby in this picture?? :) For some reason he would NOT cooperate and sit by "the baby" (Emily) as I called her to take a pic. Finally he did but looked like this! It was so funny, look at how Emily is looking at him. At least he's sitting! ha ha

Batter up!

Last week we went to watch Ryan play softball. I didn't take many pictures but wanted to post because Cooper was so funny! He is going to through a "daddy" phase right now and whenever Ryan is home he wants to play with him, be by him, etc... So at the game he didn't understand that Ryan couldn't play with him all the time. He started crying every time Ryan had to go play and kept yelling "daddy!" We had to leave shortly after the game started because he was upset. So funny.

Ashlynn's Birthday Party

Our good friend Ashlynn had her 3rd birthday party at a fun gymnastics place last weekend, and Cooper, Ben, and Elizabeth all went to it. I didn't get very many pictures but I have a few to post.

Grandma and Grandpa S's visit

Grandma and Grandpa S came to visit us last weekend. We had a great time with them! Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of the visit.

Getting big!

Cooper has been becoming more independent and wanting to do things on his own (so sad for mommy!)


Here is Cooper reading by himself. I kept asking him if I could read with him and he'd say "No, Cooper do it."



Getting into his booster seat by himself. One day I walked into the room and he was sitting so proudly in his seat, I jumped because I was so startled! So I was able to get pictures of him in the act! The only problem is now he won't let me help him at all get into the seat, and it's still kind of hard for him. So sometimes we sit there awhile!

He also likes to do this when I leave the room. I'll come in and he'll be sitting at the big table (or standing, ahhh!) trying to reach whatever is on the table.

Play date

Cooper and I had some friends over to play last week. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed having them all over!

Here is Cooper and his buddy "Sheep." He sits on sheep when he watches TV and reads books. I thought this was so cute b/c it looks like they're having a conversation. (For some reason the picture turned when I downloaded it)

Playdate at the Park

Cooper and I met our friends Joanne, Jane, and Jill, along with Allison and Emily at the park last week. It was beautiful, around 75 degrees and sunny. We had a great time. I just got a new camera that is really big so I didn't get a ton of pictures of the kids playing, I had to go leave the camera in my car! Oh well, we still had a lot of fun.

Visiting babies

Two of my friends in town had babies recently so Cooper and I went to visit them.

I think this is so funny. Cooper is blowing out his candles. I don't know if you can tell, but for some reason he now doesn't know how to blow out, only up. So he's blowing as hard as he can and he's only blowing his bangs up! It's so cute. We are now working on blowing out, he has to be able to cool off his food! :)
