Animal Kingdom

Another Disney post, a month later! Not too bad, right? :)

We took a bus to Animal Kingdom and the boys thought they were SO cool riding by themselves.
We're here! Love the princess pose by E.
The "tree of life" is the symbol of Animal Kingdom (in the back) so I was trying to pose the boys in front of it.

All four in front of the tree.
We headed to dino land but on the way saw Pooh so of course we had to stop for a hug!
The dinosaur rides

There was a HUGE dinosaur that I tried to get pictures of the boys in front of.
We went on a safari ride which was my favorite of the day. We saw real animals SO close up!

There was a fun play area that the kids LOVED as well.

After that I don't have any more pictures of the park. We went on a few "grown up" rides and saw a few really fun shows!

That evening we went back to the hotel and I took pictures of the boys on the beach at our hotel. I took a TON on this beach, but I could hardly resist since it was J's first time on a beach!
It's hard to tell his expression but he just ate sand :) Awww, my sweetie!

So I tried to draw Mickey around them really quick before Jackson got up and ran. It doesn't really look like Mickey.... but at least he stayed!
Love this one!

Cooper loved playing in the water, even though it was freezing!

My other sweetie!
Jackson had fun running all around in the sand!

But then he got covered in it!
A view of the back of the hotel.

The hotel had marshmellow roasting at nights so we went to do that one night. Cooper loved it of course. Poor J was already in bed so he didn't get to have any. He would have loved it though!

Another day at Magic Kingdom

So the next day on our trip we spent it again at Magic Kingdom. There is just so much to see and do there, we had another busy day and were able to ride on a lot more rides. The fun part about this day was we had breakfast with Mickey and his gang scheduled so we got into the park an hour early. Perfect for taking more pictures!

Aren't these the cutest Disney shirts?? I love them.

The kids got their Mickey ears and LOVED them.

I'm trying to get Jackson to wear his. He wasn't so sure about it at first.

Here's the majority of our gang waiting to see the characters at breakfast.

Isn't the breakfast adorable?!? (the kid is pretty cute too) Love the Mickey waffles.

The characters did a little show, then walked around and took pictures with everyone. In this picture you can see how close we were to them.

This was Cooper's reaction as he was getting very close to meeting Mickey. He was beyond thrilled!

Minnie loving from Jackson.

Meeting Minnie.

After all the characters walked around, they had all the children stand up and sing some songs with them.

After breakfast we had to get a group shot in front of Cinderella's castle. Then we saw Pinnochio!

And Peter Pan!

Jackson fell in love with this Mickey and now he lives in his crib with him. I love how they're practically the same size.

After going back to the hotel for a nap, we came back to the park refreshed and ready to go!

We had dinner at a restaurant where Pooh and his friends hang out. The kids loved meeting all of these characters! First they clowned around with Tigger.

Then they met Pooh.

While we were eating dinner Pooh did a song and marched around the restaurant with all of the kids. You can see our three big kids in the front of the line.

Jackson wasn't too sure about Piglet!

After dinner and more rides we stayed to watch the final show at Cinderella's castle. It's really beautiful-they light up the castle and have characters sing/dance. Then there are fireworks.

A picture of main street at night.

The kids are ready to watch! Elizabeth had just gotten back from a princess pampering party where they turned her into a princess. Isn't she beautiful?

Grandma and Grandpa are ready to watch the show!

An amazing ending to an amazing day!
