Random Stuff

My silly boys were wearing my glasses on one drive and were just being crazy!

Jackson was working up a sweat one morning :)
We watched our friend Holly one morning and decided to make a little turkey dessert.  They thought it was quite tasty :).

This is the kind of turkey I enjoy eating! :)

Halloween

I'm finally blogging about Halloween!  My KState football players had a really fun Halloween!  The day before we went trick-or-treating to Gma and Gpa's house.

My mom always has a really festive table set up for the kids!

Once Elizabeth and Ben got there they trick-or-treated at their house.
One of their favorite treats was a "tooting" little container.  They thought it was hilarious.
Then we of course had to do a few group photos.

They always get these scary teeth in their treat bags.
On actual Halloween I packed Cooper and Jackson a lunch and ate with Cooper at school.  I actually made a few things from pinterest :).
Before we went trick-or-treating we carved pumpkins.

Then had our traditional Halloween dinner.
Can you tell Jackson was excited?? :)
Then we took a few pictures...
 trick-or-treated at our house...
 posed by the pumpkins...
and set off to meet our neighbors!

The boys came home with a ton of candy and loved every minute of it!

Games and Another Pumpkin Patch!

I need to catch up, it's almost Thanksgiving and I haven't even blogged about Halloween!

Jackson has been obsessed with playing this game.  He LOVES it and always asks to play when Cooper is at school.

Dad came over a few weeks ago to build a bench/mud room thing for us.  I'll have to post a picture of it once we paint it.
We met Eliz, Ben, my mom, and Laura at the pumpkin patch right before Halloween.  Once again they had the best time!

Scooby doo is one of their favorites!
 Same with these guys!

Hay Bale jumping..so cute!

 Such a dare-devil!
 They are such cuties!!
We made them pose all over the patch.  Lucky them! :)

We ended the day with slushies.  Luckily (or not lucky depending on how you feel about being hot!) it was very warm and so the slushies were a perfect treat!
Farewell to the pumpkin patch season!  We sure do love it!

Girly Outfits!

I just had to share a few outfits I have bought for Claire recently.  I have no idea what size she will wear (she's fairly tall but skinny so I don't know what that means size-wise.)

I kept eyeing this coat at Target and finally bought it for her for next year.
I bought this dress a few years ago in the off-chance we had a girl!
The cutest little outfit my mom got Claire.  And there's a very small preview of her :) I don't know how well you can see her-this is her referral picture! One of these days when we're officially accepted then I'll post her pictures for you.   Ryan made lots of fun of me but I had to lay the outfit on the picture to see what she'll look like in it!
We received an update about Claire last week, she's doing so well!  She's walking now and looks so much older already :(  That makes me really really sad.  They sent a picture of her smiling her big beautiful smile and I just can't wait to hold her.  We also received a short video of her walking around so we can really see her doing it!  I don't know if we'll receive any more updates until we go to China, but usually when people send a care package they'll take a few photos of the child with the care package.  I already asked when we're allowed to send one-as soon as we get our official letter of acceptance then we can send one.  I can't wait!
