September Happenings

So I'm just cramming a lot of photos together so I can catch up so there will probably be a few random posts here!

 

Elizabeth and Ben came over to spend the night and had fun dressing up.

 

 Cooper played soccer this fall and did really well.  He made at least 5 goals this season!

Our neighbor has this adorable lemonade stand-isn't it so cute!?!

My friend Leanne made Claire this adorable dress and also her doll a dress.  Isn't it so cute how they match?

Cooper's top front tooth was loose and he loved walking around pushing it out in these gross way. :)

The kids were ready a little bit early one morning on the way to take Cooper to school so I tried to get a few photos.

Claire has a few cute KState outfits.  She's all ready to cheer on the wildcats!

Then of course I had to include my two cute boys!

Spring Fun, and a Milestone for Jackson!

It's been gorgeous here so we've been trying to get to the park before it becomes 100!I thought this tree was so fun to take pictures on.

They were both being sweet to Lily so I had to take a picture!

Jackson is officially in a big boy bed! We still have his crib up because we weren't sure if it was going to be a permanent switch. It was kind of an impulse decision. The same day I decided we weren't going to continue to potty train, I decided to take his mattress out of the crib and put it on the floor. He did great with it! After a few great days he started getting out of bed so we had to do a reward system. But he's now back on track! Our problem is now that he keeps falling out of bed and hasn't learned not to roll out. Cooper learned pretty quickly.

Here he is the first day in his big boy bed...love all the animals with him!

We put him in a toddler bed thinking it would teach him not to fall out, but as you can see in the picture, it didn't help! I've been getting up a few times every night when he falls out and wakes up! So today I got a rail to attach to the bed, we'll see if it works! I just had to add this picture, can you believe how he's sleeping on the wood floor so far away from his bed and didn't wake up?!? Crazy!

Cooper's been playing soccer and has been having fun! He's made a few goals, here he is right after he made one. He was SO proud!

Soccer and other stuff

Cooper is on a soccer team this season and he is having so much fun! This is him at his first game. He didn't have his uniform yet but he still looks cute :).

This was right before he made his FIRST GOAL!!!! There was a big crowd of kids all around the goal fighting for control and he was the one who kicked it in!

He's SO proud of himself. Love it!

Cooper received a scooter for his birthday and loves it. Jackson now gets Cooper's old scooter so they had fun riding them together.

I just had to post this. This is what he does when he's pouting...hilarious.

The boys kept making funny faces.

Over and over Jackson would say "look at me mom. Look at me!"What would I do without these boys making me laugh?

Fun at Home

I was looking through my recent pictures and realized I never posted pics of Cooper during his soccer class. He loved it! His fierce goalie face! :)

Getting his trophy in the last class. He was SO excited to get his first ever trophy!

I just thought this picture was hilarious. Jackson is saying "cheese."

I was really windy one day so we tried to fly our kite. (this was my lazy way to fly it, I didn't want to walk down the street to the big open field, so we just ran around the backyard.)

Jackson is still in LOVE with his "ickey's" (A big and baby Mickey). H likes to put them in his cart and push them around. So cute!

The boys have been playing a lot together. Cooper is loving having a playmate!

St. Patty's Day

We had a great St. Patrick's Day! We met my friend Tamara and her kids Austin and Amanda at the Science Museum. Tamara and I used to job share together and it has been forever since we've seen eachother, so it was great to get together. Before they arrived we took a few pictures of their St. Patty's Day outfits outside the museum.

Then we had to explore the cool statues they had outside.

Once inside we did tons of fun things! It was hard to take lots of pictures while watching both boys but I did get a few of different activities. Here is Tamara helping the boys do this flying paper activity.

Cooper was able to make his fly! He loved this and wanted to stay for a long time doing this over and over!

We also dug for dinosaur bones. Jackson had fun flinging sand all over.

There were not many cars to go around and Jackson was NOT happy about it!

They did do some grocery shopping for me too which was really nice! :)

It was a really warm day so we were able to go outside and play with the water. Cooper waited (somewhat) patiently for the water gun.

I made rainbow cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day. It kind of all melted together so it didn't look much like the picture, but Cooper thought it was cool.

That evening Cooper had his first soccer practice! He's playing on his first official team and he's really excited about it. He actually had his first game on Saturday and he did so well. He played most of the game and had a great time. He was tired and sweaty when he was done though!

Showing off his "stopping" skills. We took a soccer class at the local rec center a month ago so that was fun to now practice those skills on his team.

He's one of only two boys on his team, it's pretty cute. Some of the little girls are really good!

Our last St. Patty's Day activity was a four leaf clover hunt. Apparently it was way too easy because it took him all of 5 seconds to find it. Then he had to hunt for the rainbow and the pot of gold at the end of it.

Oooh, I found it!

Yes, I worked all day on that rainbow, don't be jealous! :) I am a last minute person for sure!
