Thanksgiving in Topeka

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a very busy and fun-filled Thanksgiving week. The Friday before Thanksgiving we drove to Topeka to have an early Thanksgiving with Ryan's side of the family. His brother B.J. and new wife Jodi were in town from the Cayman Islands so we were so excited to see them! Ryan's grandma and Grandpa S, along with his Grandpa E, came in town to visit so Cooper and Jackson were able to see all of their great-grandparents on Ryan's side!

Cooper had a great time playing with everyone and calling "BJ!" "Chris!" a million times. He LOVES his uncles. They brought him to toys R us to get his very first nerf gun and he was SO excited to play with it. Still loves it.

We've been having fun these past few weeks getting together with cousins and friends, going to Cooper's gymnastics class, and getting ready to go out of town on Fri. So this is just a random assortment of pictures from the past few weeks.

Jackson, almost 3 months old. He'll be 3 months old tomorrow! He also did an official giggle today, it was SO cute! Of course I was here by myself and ran to get the video camera and he wouldn't do it anymore, he was too into the camera. Maybe next time.

Fall is Here!

Cooper, Jackson, and I have been enjoying the beautiful fall weather here. It has been sunny and in the 70s the past week! Amazing. We played outside in the leaves a few days ago and I took some pictures of the boys.

All these next pictures are Cooper playing in the leaves. The first day we went out in the leaves he had SO much fun and was loving it so I ran to get my camera. Unfortunately he was wearing not a very cute outfit (the neon green shirt) and his hair was all messy because we were just staying home all day so I have a bunch of pics with him in this outfit!! Then we went back out the next day and I actually dressed him in clothes that looked nicer so I could get a few decent pictures.

Halloween Day

We had a very fun Halloween! Here are the kids posing for me. Cooper-the knight, and Jackson-a dragon.

In the morning we went to get professional pictures of all of the kids in their costumes. (I'm going to try to scan them to put them on the blog, they turned out great!) and then went to G and G's house to trick or treat and eat lunch. Here they are, ready to go in!

G and G took a picture of them and I thought it was funny how we got Jackson in the pic. His Auntie was nice enough to give him a boost!

(this is kind of random but on the day after Halloween we went over to my friend Dana's house for a fun playdate. Our friend Ashleigh came too with her son Hunter. Here the kids are doing a fun art project. Dana had 3 different projects for them to do! So much fun!) Hunter, Cooper, and Ashlynn

On Halloween night we went trick-or-treating to a few houses in our neighborhood. (we went early to this house so I could get a pic, Jackson needed to eat!)

After a little trick-or-treating we went to our neighborhood block party. It was so much fun! Last year we ran a game but since we had Jackson this year I thought we should just come and have fun. It was a great turnout and Cooper had fun playing the games and being in the costume parade/contest.

Jackson's Baptism

Last weekend we had Jackson baptised. It was a great time. Gma S and Uncle Chris came in town for the baptism. It was fun to have them here and great for Chris to meet Jackson. Cooper LOVES his Uncle Chris so he had so much fun playing with him. He still says "there's Uncle Chris" whenever a plane flies overhead!
