My Boys

The kids and I went out to take some pictures for our Christmas cards. I'm posting some of the cute ones that we aren't using :).

Jackson is trying to copy Cooper; he doesn't understand how to pose with his hands under his chin. Love it.

I thought this was so cute of Cooper.

All of our Grandmas, do you notice the suitcase next to Jackson?

Cooper's trying to help him put up two fingers to say "two."

King of the World!!! There was a fairly big hill where we were taking pictures and Cooper was so excited to roll down it.

Jackson ran down it and as I'm yelling... Go SLOW, BE CAREFUL, he wipes out. Luckily it was on the grass and he wasn't hurt a bit. I'm trying not to be so cautious, but it's hard not to be!

I loved this huge tree!

Exploring was a favorite activity here.

Again J's trying to copy Cooper- so funny!

J was getting bored with pictures!

I'll end on a hug!

Trick or Treating!

We had a great Halloween! Since Cooper didn't have school we had two of his friends over for a "spooky lunch." I don't know spooky it was, but I tried to make a spooky dessert. :)

Here is the candy corn yogurt we made. (Copied this idea from my mom, thanks!)

Here's the cake we decorated to be spooky. (cute huh, I put it together too soon and it was warm and started to fall apart. But I'll pretend I made it that way to make it look more spooky)

Zach, Carson, and Cooper with their cake.

Cake and eyeball ice cream (m&ms and strawberry syrup)

That night we met some neighbors to go trick-or-treating. Here are the boys with Sierra. The boys decided to be spiderman and Buzz Lightyear to trick or treat. Cooper actually decided FOR Jackson that he'd be Buzz. So funny.

Here are our friends we trick or treated with.

Cooper LOVES these blow ups; I have a feeling we'll be getting one some day!

This house always does really spooky things for decorations, I don't think you can see much, but it has lots of movable scary people and music, stuff like that.

Cooper's loot!

Jackson's loot!

Cooper probably would have had three times as much as that if I had let him run to every house like he wanted to. Waiting for his little brother's legs was a test of patience for him! He was SO excited and loved every minute of it. I think Jackson just thought it was fun running after the big boys! Next year I'll have to put on my running shoes just to keep up with the both of them I'm sure!

Park and Pumpkin Carving

The day before Halloween was gorgeous so we went to the park in the afternoon before we carved pumpkins.

I decided to attempt to cross this thing because Cooper loves it but has a hard time with it... so did I!

The sky was SO blue!

Jackson's favorite thing at the park is the slide!!

Then we headed home to carve pumpkins. Cooper was not a huge fan. He wanted to cut the pumpkins but did NOT want to touch the inside at all.

Jackson was all for it!

Then we made caramel apples for Cooper's teachers and ourselves of course!

See that hand trying to sneak in the back?

YUMMY!

We made them with heath and chocolate chips and they were SO good!

We had to check out our lit pumpkins that night.

Trick or Treating at G & G's House

The day before Halloween after church we went to Gma and Gpa's house to trick or treat and have lunch.

The LOVE to trick or treat at G & G's house!

They each got a bag of treats and one of the things in it were these dracula teeth. I think Cooper looks especially scary! Sorry Benny Boy, we can't see you too well!

The kids sat and ate some snacks before lunch...smart, right?

Then they played this fun ghost game.

One of the treats they got to make was candy corn yogurt.

Yummy!

Cooper enjoyed his meal thoroughly.

The cute Halloween table.

After this party we had two more fun Halloween activities that I'll post about soon. Good thing we all love Halloween!

Neighborhood Halloween Party

The Saturday before Halloween our street had a little block party. We made these owl cupcakes for the cake walk.

The highlight of the party was this bounce house. (Cooper with our friend and neighbor Zach). Ryan was out of town so I spent the majority of my time standing outside of this bounce house watching them!

Cooper and some neighborhood friends racing for the bounce house!

I thought the highlight was the fire truck coming to visit our party!

The boys with some of our neighborhood friends posing on the firetruck! Last year was the first year for the party and they had the firetruck come also. The boys that year dressed as a firefighter and dalmation so they looked perfect on the firetruck!

Playing a bean bag toss.

This has nothing to do with the party but this is the best person Cooper has ever drawn so I had to post it! :)

Western Day

Cooper's PK had a Western Day recently and he had SO much fun going to it! I volunteered for part of the day so my mom came up to watch Jackson for me. I of course had to dress them matching! :)
My two little cowboys!

I only made it to the petting zoo and then the craft I helped with, but they had a bunch of activities there. I wish I had been able to see it all!

The craft I helped with was making cowboy vests. A child Cooper talks about alot is sitting next to him on his R.

Here's Jackson sitting at the table like a PKer and making the vest! Pretty soon he'll be here for PK! Makes me sad just thinking about it.

Here's cowboy Cooper.

Both of the boys. Yeehaw!
