Another Pumpkin Patch!

This surely is pumpkin season!  We have a pumpkin patch by our old house that visit every year, so we headed out there a few weekends ago.   It got kind of hot while we were there, and was SO crowded, so we didn't stay as long as we normally do.  But while we were there...

We of course got a family photo :)...

 Cooper got a tattoo...

We took a few pictures of the boys...
Ahh, LOVE this one, it shows their relationship to a T!  Jackson just looks up to Cooper SO much!
The boys took a turn on the slide...

They also pretended to be cowboys...
(don't tell Jackson he was actually a cowGIRL)...
 took a few more photos...
tried to pick a pumpkin...(way too heavy!)
and finally found a little chair where they just barely were able to squeeze themselves into!

The boys then dropped me off to meet my good friend Bekah and her family to take some pictures for Christmas.   I took a ton but since they're not of my family I thought I'd just post one, hopefully she doesn't care! :)  Aren't they a cute family?
And that's the end of the pumpkin patch!

Go KState!!

A few weekends ago we drove to Kansas to go to the KState vs KU game.

The boys had a lot of fun on the long car ride! :)

We saw a beautiful sunset!
All geared up and ready to cheer on the cats!
Cooper came with Ryan and I to the game, along with Grandpa S.  Grandma was nice enough to stay home with Jackson for the day.

Cooper's such a tough football player!

It was VERY cold and windy at the game so they really took advantage of the hot chocolate there!
I snapped a few pictures of them and then I left!  Gretchen and I went down to Aggieville and really enjoyed the game!  :)
We also took a tour of our old Kappa house!  Gretchen and I lived in this room for a semester with Linsey.  It brought back so many fun memories :).
Here's the inside of our old room.  I'm sure the current residents would love to know we took pictures there!
The day after the game we were able to spend the day with Grandma, Grandpa, Chris, and Amanda.

The boys got these KState sweatshirts from Gma and Gpa-they look so cute in them!
That afternoon we checked out a really fun pumpkin patch!
The boys both loved the super fast slides.
I think Jackson might have been kind of scared!
Aww, cutie pie Cooper!  He cooperated for a picture so well for me!
 Then there was Jackson.
After some reverse psychology I got a cute one!
This pumpkin patch had the most fun bouncy trampoline/bounce house thing.
 The boys LOVED it.

 The spectators!
 Chris and Amanda.
This giant tractor was a hit!
There was so much to do!
We had to get a family photo of course.
 Also one with the Grands.
Before picking out pumpkins we fed the baby goats...
and sat in a giant chair!
Last but not least, we looked at the pumpkins.

A really fun (and fast!) trip to Kansas.  Can't wait to go up again!

The New Shared Boys Room!

Ok, I'm FINALLY done enough with the boys room to share pictures of it.  I still have two projects to do but those probably won't get done for a long time...if ever :)  So I already posted pictures of the boys' new bed...they love it! It's very sturdy too which makes me feel good about their saftey.   (Excuse the blurry pictures, my wider camera lens is broken, I need to get a new one!)
I decided a travel theme would be fun to do and hopefully grow with them a bit.  The bottom picture is of China in case you didn't know :)  I just drew these onto scrapbook paper with a white paint pen.  (actually traced them from a stencil I made, I did NOT draw them free-hand!)
The room isn't that big-you can see the bunk beds still on the left. I painted the curtains (just plain basic ones from Target) with wall paint to make the stripes.  I wasn't sure if it would work but it did!  I am obsessed with stripes lately :).
Ryan and I built that frame around the giant map because I couldn't find one big enough.  It was our first time doing anything like that and in person you can definitely tell.  But at least in pictures you can't!
This is at the foot of their bed.  Just a few pieces of wood and I used my cricut and vinyl for the letters.
Lastly some photos of the boys!  These are some of my favorites of them (and one of the four cousins).
I just painted the sides of canvases and then glued a photo on the canvas with elmers glue!  So so easy.  (I LOVE this photo of Cooper by the way-he's being Clark Kent and thought of it all by himself.  He ran and got glasses and then just put a shirt on over his superman shirt! :))
My helper jumped in the picture and then did this silly face.  Gotta love him!
So that's it!  I still want to put some sort of shelf by each bed so the boys have a place to store the books they're reading, and I want to put a shelf up high for trophies and stuff like that.  Nothing too hard, it's just a matter of making myself do it!  Maybe one of these days.  Now I need to get started on our daughter's room!
