Jackson is becoming a smiley boy! He's anywhere from 6-7 weeks in these pictures.

This is random but I thought it was an interesting picture. Cooper was having some fun with glitter! (My floors looked like his hands but at least it kept him entertained for awhile! :))

Chicago Day Two

On the second day we were in Chicago Cooper and I had until around 2 before we had to head to the airport. We walked down to Navy Pier with Laura and family and went to the Children's Museum. The kids had a great time.

Ben looks like he's crying or having a fit but he's actually just trying SO hard to pull that dinosaur bone out of the ground. Isn't that so cute??

Each of those tubes had a different sound they could try to identify in them.

They rode on Thomas and as you can see, Cooper was SO excited. But as it went around and around his face looked more and more upset, until he was crying to get off. I have no idea why!

We had such a great time in Chicago, but it was fun to get home to Jackson and Ryan!

Day One of Chicago Trip Cont...

On the first day in Chicago we walked to a park and the kids were very interested in this big bean.



We kept being reminded of Jackson on our trip because our hotel was very close to "Jackson" street. awwww!


This is what the kids did while we were at the banquet for my dad. My Aunt Amy and Uncle Jim were nice enough to watch them while we were gone. The boys eventually fell asleep first (see pic below) and then eventually Elizabeth joined them. So cute!

Day One of our Chicago Trip

Cooper and I made a VERY quick trip to Chicago a few weeks ago. My dad was being honored at a banquet so I really wanted to go. We originally were going to have Ryan and Jackson go as well, but I got so paranoid about bringing Jackson on the plane with the flu right now, so we decided to have Ryan stay home with him. So Cooper and I went up early on a Sunday and came back late Monday. As I said, a QUICK trip. But it was lots of fun and we ended up seeing quite a bit. I'm having trouble getting pictures downloaded so I'll post a few more from day one later.

Day one we all met at American Girl (Those pictures are at the end). After we had lunch there we took a cab to our hotel and then walked all along Michigan Ave. The pictures are in reverse order of course! Here is Cooper running around Millenium Park.



I think this is called Buckingham fountain?? I can't remember right now and I'm too lazy to go look :). This fountain was very close to our hotel so it was an easy walk to see it.

This is how Laura traveled with the kids some of the way, isn't that funny??!!
