The Saturday Gretchen, Darin, and the kids were here was jam-packed! We went to a local restaurant we had recommended to us for brunch. It was SO good. I had to take a picture of the boys with their ONE pancake. Can you see it takes up the entire plate?
We then headed to a pumpkin patch. It was pretty crowded but had lots to do so the kids had so much fun!
Bounce houses are always a hit.
There were lots of photo-ops that we took advantage of.
Hay bale jumping (I have no idea how to spell that correctly!) was a favorite activity I think.
We of course had to get a few pictures of the kids posing.
This is one place I hope to never see my boys! :) They look appropriately sad don't they?
We finished our pumpkin patch experience with a hay maze. To end the maze the kids had to slide down this slide.
After a nap for the little kids, we all got ready for Laura and Tom's annual Halloween party.
Cooper and Jackson were planning on being football players for Halloween, and Maya and Nolan just happened to have KState outfits too, so all four were KStaters! Appropriate since that's where we met Gretchen and Darin!
Gretchen and I dressed as KState fans for the party-very easy! She made me this wreath as a thank-you, isn't it BEAUTIFUL? It's still on my door; the perfect fall wreath!
I don't have many pictures of the party but first the kids played a bunch of different games.
After the kids played games, the ran around in the backyard while the adults played minute-to-win it games. We all had a blast! The kids fell asleep as soon as they got in the car.
We had such a great time with Gretchen and Darin and can't wait for them to come down again!
