Memorial Day and Fun Days!

Look at this gross boy. I can't remember what he was eating but YUCK! He can be a pretty messy eater sometimes, just like his brother used to be!

On Memorial Day we had a BBQ with a few friends over at our house. I didn't get many pictures of adults but here are some of the kids playing a water balloon fight. They loved it but as always we did not make enough! They went through them in about one minute.

To strech it out we tried to do a water balloon toss; that didn't last too long either!

Jackson just loved carrying around the balloon.

This is what he would do whenever I'd ask him to hand it to me. He did NOT want to give it to me.

The Last Day of Zoo School

Cooper had his last day of zoo school a few weeks ago. Cooper was sad to have it done but he loved it while he attended!

I just had to add this picture, Eliz and Ben spent the night a few weeks ago and I thought it was hilarious how Ben was sleeping.


On the last day of zoo school we took Jackson to the zoo and checked out the dinosaur exhibits.

Playtime

We've been enjoying the summer-like weather that we've been having around here! (Although I'm already getting hot which doesn't bode well for the rest of the summer!!)

I thought this was so cute, the boys were watching a show together and this is how they were cuddling.

We also got out the sprinklers for the first time. A hit for sure!

They also still love to play dress-up, and now Cooper gets J involved. I love J's chubby face in this costume!

Easter

Whew, I need to play catch up! I am finally getting around to posting about Easter.

I made these cake ball chicks for Easter. Let me tell you, they look a lot cuter when Bakerella makes them!

Then we had the Easter egg hunt! Jackson was so excited! I love this smile.

Cooper found a lot of eggs! Each grandchild had their own easter egg color which made it much easier on them.

The highlight of Easter were the confetti eggs. They LOVED them. Even us "big kids" got our own set of eggs which made it really fun.

I don't know if you can see all the confetti in their hair and on their clothes in this picture. They were covered!

Pre-Easter Activities

We've been having a fun Spring so far! There were a few local egg hunts in our area that we went to recently. The boys loved it. It was Jackson's first time to do an egg hunt and he understood right away what he was supposed to do. In the first egg hunt we went to, they separated the children by age so Jackson and I went together, while Ryan and Cooper went to his age group. So all the pictures I have are of Jackson.

After the egg hunts we played a few games. Jackson was really good at the bean bag toss.

Then we went right to our next egg hunt. They had a pillowcase race that Cooper thought was so funny.

Then we had the second egg hunt. Cooper was VERY into it.

The next day we went to church and then to Gma and Gpa's house to get their Easter baskets. They wore their Easter outfits because we wanted to get pictures with the cousins in their Easter finery. Here's Jackson!

We made bunny cookies for the day. Cooper had fun decorating them.

One of their favorite presents are these funny bunny suckers.

Everyone (including the grown ups) got silly string in their baskets. It made for a really fun silly string fight!

These pictures have nothing to do with our Easter activities but I had to add them because I thought they were so cute. Just a few days ago we were at my sister's house and she was watching her niece and nephew. Amelia is only about a month older than Jackson. There was music playing and I kept telling them to hold hands and dance. So they finally did and then had so much fun with it.

Isn't she a doll?? I think she was kind of over the hand holding but Jackson kept reaching for her hand.
