Helping Mommy and some V-day fun

For the first time Cooper actually wanted to help me feed Jackson! (Only because Ben wanted to help me too). He's never asked again since, but it was cute while it lasted. Jackson will eat from anyone, as long as food is involved!
Here's Ben's turn.

a few days before Valentine's Day (I know, I'm behind!) I had Eliz and Ben over while Laura and Tom moved. We did a few Valentine's activities, and had a movie night and they spent the night. It was a great time, and they actually all slept together (except for Jackson ) in the family room.
I made this yummy dessert for them. Looks impressive but VERY easy. The cup is edible and the kids were very confused by this. They ate all of the ice cream out of it and didn't touch the cup at first. I was forced to take a bite of Cooper's (such a hardship!) to show them you could eat it. Then they gobbled it up.

all the kids before our movie night.
getting ready to watch the movie.

(random picture but this is how Jackson and Cooper eat together now. So cute! Jackson looks like such a big boy now!)

The other snack that I made when the kids were over. They helped me with it a bit. It was so tasty , the kids didn't eat much of it but I sure did (so maybe I'm the only one who thought it was good??) It was those yogurt covered cheerios (Cooper calls them the pink cheerios), craisins, and white chocolate chips. Can't go wrong with chocolate!
Both of the boys had b-days recently-Jackson turned 6 months and Cooper turned 3!! So I'll be posting pictures from that soon.

Looks like a lot of sweet fun over at your house lately! I am curious... did you sleep on the couch when they were all out in the family room?

Oh yes I did! Not the best sleep in the world, but if was worth it to have them over!

Thank you SO MUCH for babysitting them while we moved. It helped out a ton! I love all the snacks and things you did with the kiddos - you always make it so much fun for them! I love how crammed into the bumbo Jackson is...too funny!

Was it hard to get Jackson out of his bumbo? Love all the creative things you did for the kids. Looks like they had a great time at the sleep over.

That bumbo picture just makes me smile-really big! Cooper looks a little "compacted" also! He must love having lunch with Jackson now, feels like the baby is turning into a kid? SOOO lucky to have their cousins close by and grow so close! :)
