A few days after Christmas we drove to Kansas to have Christmas with Ryan's side of the family. The boys LOVE being with their grandparents and uncles/aunt so they were very excited to drive up. Cooper did great on the trip, Jackson did as well as can be expected :). We had a very relaxing time up in KS!
Here is Cooper bowling for his first time. We went bowling one day and had a great time. I am a horrible bowler and Cooper did better than most of the girls!

Then we had our Christmas morning. Here are Cooper and Jackson posing with their Uncle Chris and Uncle B.J. Ryan got the guys these shirts as a gag gift. You should have seen the one he got me, oh my!

The kids were very spoiled with all of the presents they received! Here Jackson is on a Buzz Lightyear car. This was definitely a favorite! Cooper loved it too.

Another favorite, the Blues Clues dog.

This was one of Cooper's favorite gifts, a kid computer! For all of you with kids, this is a really cool activity, it teaches math, reading, art, science, etc... but all on the computer and Cooper has lots of fun with it. It's called Computer Cool School and is made by Fisher Price.

Gma and Gpa got the boys these matching vests. Aren't they so cute??

The whole family!

Silly Cooper hamming it up!

all the boys.

Katie's two sisters came into town to visit us. It was so great to see them.

We didn't get to see nearly as many friends as we would have liked to, it's so hard when we're there only for a few days. But we were lucky enough to see a few of our high school and college friends. Unforunately I didn't take many pictures, but I did get one of my kids with Maya and Nolan (Gretchen and Darin's children). They turned two just about a week ago. They both had Elmo dolls like Jackson, so we had to get a picture of all of the kids with their dolls!

We had such a great time in KS, we always wish we could stay longer!
This is just a random picture of Cooper with his zoo his Gma and Gpa B got him for Christmas. It took forever to put together but he has a lot of fun with it!

Yay for a fun trip with family! Bite your tongue about longer stays in KS missy. ;) Love the vests and collection of pictures... the dreaded many piece zoo strikes again eh?
Yea - so you did end up bowling in Topeka! Did Cooper love it? Cole had such a blast, they put up the bumpers for him and had a little ramp that he rolled the ball down. That computer sounds cool, I might have to ask you about that at some point later if I forget the name of it. :)
Looks like a great trip. Always sad when we miss you guys. Maybe you will make it up for a bit this summer and we will get to hang out again! I will either be VERY pregnant or have a new baby so... Bowling looks like so much fun!
What a fun trip! I think it's so fun how much Cooper loves all of his aunts and uncles. First bowling - so fun! I'm glad you were able to see some of your friends during the trip!
