3ish Weeks Old!

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. We've been staying home a lot so I've been trying to find some fun things for us to do.

We had a "book bash" one day when he woke up from nap. (All it was, was sitting in a tent reading books while eating popcorn. But he thought it was fun!)

This is what Jackson did while we were reading.

That night we made s'mores in the microwave. It was so funny, it had been a while since he had eaten marshmellows, and he wasn't too sure about how sticky and gross his fingers got at first. "Hey, get off my fingers!" was the first thing he said. Pretty funny. But soon he dug right in.

Here are some pictures of cutie pie Jackson. He's becoming more and more awake which is fun!

The boys getting ready for bed.

Jackson taking his first tub bath! He got so calm in it.

Jackson is getting so big! He's already too long for a few of his 0-3 month outfits, and he weighed 12.2 at his 1 month appointment. Yea!
Cooper and I just got back from a VERY quick trip to Chicago late last night. I'll post about it soon, we had a great time but I was SO excited to get back to Jackson. I missed him so much!

Nursery Rhymes

I have been taking videos of Cooper singing nursery rhymes and other songs, and I finally am getting around to posting them. This post is probably more for the grandparents than anyone else :) Although I'm sure all of you would love to hear what a good singer Cooper is! :) (ha ha)

The top video is "Jesus Loves Me"
The second video is "Three Blind Mice" I think he sings is so funny because when it starts to get fast and have lots of words, he gets a few of them correct, but mostly just makes up words.

Labor Day

My mom and dad had a "back to school" party for the grandkids on Labor Day. I didn't take a picture of the table but it was SO cute!

We took pictures of all four grandkids in their matching outfits.
I thought this picture was really funny. Jackson looks a little concerned.

Here's the best one we got.

Gma and Gpa with Jackson. (They had been swimming which is why they're in swimsuit cover-ups!)
Cute little Jackson, he's three weeks old here.

A favorite activity at Gma and Gpa's, looking out the fence.

Laura's playing Simon Says with the kids.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun and busy Labor Day Weekend. Gma and Gpa S came down to visit us and we had lots of fun with them.

This is right as they were leaving.

We tried to take a few pictures of Cooper and Jackson that morning, and this one actually turned out!

Jackson's telling everyone "hi!"

A family photo

Gma and Gpa brought Cooper this cool tent, and the kids really enjoyed playing with it (Cooper, Eliz, Ben)

Jackson with his cute towel!

The brothers! Jackson is already outgrowing his onesie, it is REALLY tight.
Cooper was trying to entertain Jackson for me.

We are still doing really well. Jackson continues to be a very good baby for the most part, and Cooper is a great big brother. Doesn't pay him a whole lot of attention still, but also doesn't get jealous which is great! We went to my parents' house for dinner on Labor Day, so I'll post pictures of that next.

One- Two Weeks Old!

Here are some semi-recent pictures of the kids, finally! Things have been good here, but busy. Gma and Gpa S came down for the weekend so I'll have to post pictures from their trip here soon.

Here's Jackson, about a week and a half old.

Almost two weeks old.

Mommy and the boys!

Big Brother Cooper!

Cooper and Jackson. This was my attempt to get a few pictures of the boys, and it didn't work out too well. Jackson would only stay like this for about 10 seconds, and same with Cooper. I'll have to try again sometime!

All of my boys :)

My Sister the Photographer

Last weekend Laura came over and took pictures of Jackson for us. She did such a good job! I was telling her she needed to go into business because I thought they were so cute. Be prepared, there are a lot of pictures in this post because I loved so many of them.

Ryan and I are holding Jackson in this picture.

Cooper is holding him too in this picture. I love this one!

Oops, need to turn this one!

Home Sweet Home

On Fri we were able to head home, yea!!! Here are the boys, all ready to go home.

The cute decorations that were out when we got home.

All of the cousins.

Grandpa meeting Jackson for the first time. He was out of town until Fri but was able to come over and meet him when he got home.

Wearing the adorable giraffe hat Gma and Gpa got him. It's a little big, will be perfect for winter!

Cooper opening the present from Gma and Gpa, his very own doll! He's not super-into him yet, but I'm working on it :) (Daddy LOVES that, ha ha).

Phew, a long day! It's good to be home.
